WEEKLY DEVOTIONS & PRAYERS
Theme: “Harvest of Righteousness”
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” – Galatians 6:9
Week 1: Sowing in Faith
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6 – “He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”
Devotion: Every action, prayer, and act of obedience is a seed. What you sow in faith will bring a harvest in God’s timing.
Prayer: Lord, help me to sow generously into Your kingdom. May my seeds of faith, love, and service produce eternal fruit.
Week 2: Waiting in Patience
Scripture: James 5:7 – “Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it…”
Devotion: Just as a farmer waits for the harvest, we must wait on God’s promises. Patience strengthens our trust and reminds us that delay is not denial.
Prayer: Father, give me patience in the waiting season. Teach me to trust You until my harvest comes.
Week 3: Reaping in Joy
Scripture: Psalm 126:5 – “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”
Devotion: The pain of sowing is never wasted. God turns tears into testimonies, and struggle into songs of joy.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the promise of joy. Let my season of tears bring forth a bountiful harvest of praise.
Week 4: Living Fruitfully
Scripture: John 15:8 – “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
Devotion: True discipleship is seen in fruitfulness. Our lives must display love, peace, patience, kindness, and the character of Christ.
Prayer: Jesus, let my life bear much fruit. May my words, actions, and witness bring glory to Your name.
Week 5 (Oct 29–31): Enduring Until the Harvest
Scripture: Galatians 6:9 – “In due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Devotion: Weariness is the enemy of harvest. When you feel like giving up, remember that your due season is closer than it looks.
Prayer: God, strengthen me to endure until the harvest comes. I will not faint—I will stand until Your promises are fulfilled.
